The Mehat Pur police have arrested a villager on charge of brewing illicit country made liquor.
The investigating officer Sarwann Singh said that the accused has been identified as Sodhi Ram a resident of Barra Salam village.100 kg lahhan(raw liquor) 5 bottles of hooch and utensils for brewing were recovered from his possession. A case under sections 61/1/14 of the excise act has been registered against the accused.
