Aharta Association Kotkapura does not support any wrong doer-Ashok Kunar Goel

Karamjeet Anmol leaves the Association, chamber of commerce disagreed.
Faridkot
Releasing a press statement on Thursday, Ashok Goel,President of Ahartia Association Kotkapura said that the Association does not support anyone from the Ahartias of grain market Kotkapura if one is found on the wrong side of the law.
"The Association has been there to protect the interests of the commission agents, labour, accountants and the farmers as well.If one does something illegal and violates the rules of mandi board, encroaches upon the interests of the Association and farmers,We are againt it and rather condem such act ," said  Ahok Goel,in a written statement which is with the Punjab Tribune.
He also said that if any commission agent of any other  party from the grain market Kotkapura faces some problem and want to raise the issue, it is supposed to come to the Association soon after the problem faced by it.
If ones problem is genuine,we shall (our executive)would try its best to resolve the issues.
But bypassing the Association  appracing other organization and then dragging the Association in to it,is not a welcome move,he said.
The press release comes as the aftermath of a week back incident when Faridkot AAP candiate Karamjeet Anmol was visiting shop to shop during his poll campaign and one of the commission agents shouted slogans againt AAP local leadership alleging that they were intentionally targetting his firm, cancelled the licences of both of his firms and allegedly asked Goel why he was not convening a meeting of the Association regarding the issue of his firm.
He further accused Goel working under pressure aligned with the AAP party.
The aggrieved party then also approached the chamber of commerce seeking it's assistance alleging AAP was targetting him.
The chamber extended its support to the commission agent also with the involvement of the Ahartia Association Kotkapura.
"The chamber of commerce called me in the meeting and I explained them everything and even tried my best to solve out the problem, still the move of the chamber of commerce can not be justified in any way,"said Goel.
"I am being questioned about the expenses on the AAP nominee tour by some, and I want to make it clear that all the expenses were covered by me,as I had consented to accompany him on his request privately.I did not invite him in the capacity of the President of the Association. Even other commission agents, labour and Munims also made contributions this regard. As some say that all the commission agents are not with the AAP,I fully respect their views. We had asked Anmol to go from shop to shop irrespective of anyone's political associations.Any candiate is free to come to the grain market for his poll campaign,"said Goel.
Since the registration of a case againt one Kotkapura based firm during paddy season,it's owner has been levelling allegations againt AAPlocal readership for harassing and targeting his firm.
Now during wheat procurement season, the licences of the firm were suspended by chairman market commiite Kotkapura allegedly for overweighing the produce and allowing the unloading of wheat with higher moisture content.
The owner of the firm had denied both the allegations starting to be false.
However,Gurmeet Singh, chairman of market committe Kotkapura said that the firm was issued two show cause notices and also given a final hearing, but Noone replied the notices and nor did the firm presented it's case before him.
Goel further said that no politics is at play in the Association and anyone with any political affiliation is treated equally.
