NAKODAR
The Nakodar sadar police have arrested a woman drug peddler on charges of selling intoxicant tablets.
The investigating officer (IO) Sukhjivan Singh said that 280 intoxicant tablets were recovered from the possession of the accused identified as Asha Ranni wife of Indar Pal a resident of Shankar village.
IO said that a case under sections22/61/85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused.
The police also arrested Pal Singh son of Sukhwindar Singh of Shankar village for consuming heroin said, IO Jasbir Singh.
