Amritsar: British Deputy High Commissioner Caroline Rowett today met Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) President Harjinder Singh Dhami. She visited here to thank for welcoming and honouring British High Commissioner Alexander Ellis, during his visit to pay obeisance at Sachkhand Sri Harmandar Sahib some months ago.
Speaking to Harjinder Singh Dhami while appreciating contribution of Sikhs in progress of United Kingdom, Caroline Rowett revealed that a minister of British Government would visit Sri Harmandar Sahib soon.
On this occasion, Harjinder Singh Dhami said that the Sikhs have achieved success with their hard work in different countries across the globe and he is proud that the Sikhs have also become part of governments abroad.
