Two groups of students clash in Punjab's Moga over T20 World Cup, after Pak loss to Eng

Moga: A scuffle broke out between two groups of students in a hostel watching the final match of the ICC T20 World Cup at a college in Moga, Punjab.

 

According to the report, some student clashed at Lala Lajpat Rai Group of Institutes, Moga after Pakistan lost to England in the T20 World Cup final on Sunday.

Police officials say that after England's victory in the final between Pakistan and England, students from Bihar and Kashmir clashed with each other. Police officials say some students have suffered minor injuries. 

According to Media, the students of private engineering and management colleges of Moga were sitting together watching the match. After Pakistan's defeat in the match, a debate broke out between the students of Bihar and Kashmir. 

Police say that soon the argument escalated to a scuffle and then both the groups attacked each other with stones and bricks.

Now the college is guarded by the police and the investigation of the whole incident is going on.

Several videos of clashes between students have gone viral. In these, students can be seen throwing bricks and stones at each other.

 

Jaswinder Singh, SHO of the local police station told ANI, “Two groups of students have clashed at Lala Lajpat Rai College. Both the groups were pelting stones at each other. There is no report of any kind of sloganeering."
