The Shahkot police have arrested a drug peddles on the charge of selling heroin.
The investigating officer (IO)Aatamjit Singh said that 20 grams heroin was recovered from the possession of the accused identified as Navdeep Singh alias Lovely son of Bindar Singh a resident of Peer Ismayal Khan village under Sadar Feroze Pur police station .
IO said that a case under sections 21(B) /61/85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused and impounded a motorcycle on which he was travelling with the contraband.
The Nurmahal police arrested drug peddler Sushil Kumar alias Shili son of Balvir Chand a resident of Mohalla Khatika Nurmahal with 400 intoxicant tablets said IO Paramjit Singh.
