NAKODAR
The Nakodar city police have booked an unidentified driver on the charge of causing death by negligence.
Dipak Kumar son of Subash a resident of Mohalla Jatt Pura, Kapurthala complained to the police that his brother Rahul and his friend Sagar son of Ashok Kumar a resident of the same locality were going to Nakodar on his motorcycle on November 10 when the accused car driver who was driving fast and rashly and hit his two-wheeler near a private school on the Kapurthala -Nakodar killing both on the spot.
The Investigating Officer Kulwindar Singh said that a case under sections 304-A (causing death by negligence) 279(rash driving on a public way) 337,338(act endangering life or personal safety of others) and 427(mischief) of the IPC had been registered against unidentified driver.
