Two women among four booked for assaulting a woman

 

NURMAHAL

 The Nurmahal police have booked four villagers including two women on the charge of assaulting a woman.

The investigating officer (IO) Amrik Singh said that the accused have been identified as Gurdev Singh a resident of Uppal Jagir village, his wife Kirpal Kaur and son Pawitar Singh and Gurbakash Kaur wife of Kuldip Singh a resident of Bundala village.

Jasvir Kaur a resident of Uppal Jagir village complained to the police that the accused barged into her house, assaulted her, and used abusive language against her

 

IO said a case under sections 452(house trespass after preparation for hurt), 323(voluntarily causing hurt), and 34 (committing a crime with common intention) of the Indian Penal Code has been registered against the accused. No arrests have been made and raids are being conducted to arrest the absconding accused.
