AMRITSAR: An unknown person opened fire on Hinduist leader Sudhir Suri outside Gopal Mandir in Amritsar, Punjab, in which he was injured.
Sudhir Suri has been immediately taken to the Civil Hospital in Amritsar. They have also got protection from the Punjab Police.
Sudhir Suri's name has also come in controversies in the past. In July last year, he was arrested for making objectionable remarks towards a community.
