NAKODAR
The Nakodar sadar police have arrested a villager on the charge of brewing illicit country-made liquor.
The investigating officer Janak Raj said that the accused has been identified as Rajwindar Singh a resident of Kang Sahibu .20 kilograms lahann(raw liquor) 15 bottles of hooch and utensils for brewing were recovered from his possession. A case under section 61/1/14 of the excise act has been registered against the accused.
