The Mehat Pur police have arrested a drug peddler on the charge of selling heroin.
The investigating officer (IO)Bhupindar Singh said that 10 grams of heroin was recovered from the possession of the accused identified as Jasvir Singh alias Jassa son of Hari Singh a resident of Dharme Dain Chhana village.
IO said that a case under sections 21(B) /61/85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused and impounded a motorcycle of which he was traveling with the contraband.IO said that the accused is a proclaimed offender
The Bilga police arrested drug peddler Jogindar Singh alias Mitu son of Harjit Singh a resident of Burj Kela village with 5 grams of heroin and nominated Kuldip Singh Deepa son of Mohindar Singh a resident of Meon Wal village who sold drugs to the accused, said IO Anwar Masih.
