Kapurthala: In order to make the general public aware to prevent corruption by the Vigilance Bureau, an “Awareness Week' will be observed from October 31, under which seminars and various kind of activities to be organised in educational institutions, public places.
Rajeshwar Singh Sidhu, SSP Vigilance Bureau, Jalandhar said that Vigilance Awareness Week to be observed from October 31 to November 6.
He said that on October 31, an oath-taking ceremony to held at DAC Kapurthala to raise awareness against corruption, in which officers and employees of all departments will participate.
Apart from this, a seminar is being held on November 1 at 11 am in Senior Secondary School (Girls) while on November 2 the function to be held at Vigilance Bureau, Range Jalandhar.
Similarly on November 3 the function to be held at Pyramid Business and Technology College near Mehtan besides on November 4 at Senior Secondary School Bhulath.
On November 5 at Lord Krishna Polytechnical College, village Dhammanjila Kapurthala , there will be a seminar to raise awareness against corruption. .
After this, there will be a seminar to raise awareness against corruption on November 5 at 9 am at Virsa Vihar Kapurthala.
An awareness march would be held on November 6 at from DC Chowk Kapurthala to Bus Stand Kapurthala.
