Majithia defamation case: AAP MP Sanjay Singh appears in Amritsar court, says- full faith in court, will gets justice

AMRITSAR: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and Member of Parliament (MP) Sanjay Singh appeared in the court in a defamation case filed by Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leader Bikram Singh Majithia in 2016.

Singh said that he has full faith in the court that he will get justice. No government after independence has done as much work in Punjab as the government of Bhagwant Mann has done in the last few months. Bhagwant Mann's government is working day and night to rule the law on gangsters. Sanjay Singh said this to the media after appearing in the court on Friday.

Bikram Singh Majithia didn’t appear in the court on the medical ground. The next hearing would be held on November 25.

The MP said that Bikram Majithia had filed a defamation case against him, in which he appeared before the court on Friday. Since the case has been filed against him, he has reached the court on every date and on the next date he will reach the court.

He said that no government has done as much work after independence as the government of Bhagwant Mann has done during the last few months. In response to the question asked on law and order in Punjab, Sanjay Singh while questioning the media said that you know about law and order in the past.

He said on Arvind Kejriwal's statement of picture of Lakshmi ji and Shri Ganesh with Mahatma Gandhi on Indian currency, it is absolutely correct. Arvind Kejriwal has also written this letter to the Prime Minister of India today, in which he has said that the picture of the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi should be on one side of the note, while the other side of the note should have the photo of Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Ganesha.
