NAKODAR
A nineteen-year-old youth was killed in a road accident on Sunday.
The investigating officer (IO)Harwindar Singh said that the deceased has been identified as Jasprit Singh alias Jassi son of Gurdip Singh a resident of Burj Hassan village under Bilga police station.
Baldev Singh brother of the deceased told the police that Jassi was traveling on his motor cycle and lost control due to over speed and hitting a roadside tree and he died on the spot.
IO said that the police acting under section 174 of the Cr.P.C handed over the body to the family after post-mortem.
