NAKODAR
The Mehat Pur police have arrested a villager on the charge of selling illicit liquor.
The investigating officer Satnam Singh said 9 bottles of hooch were seized from the possession of the accused identified as Manjit Singh a resident of Gounsu Wal village. A case under sections 61/1/14 of the Punjab Excise Act was registered against the accused that was released on bail.
