Shankar resident arrested for extortion
NAKODAR
The Nakodar sadar police have arrested a Shankar village resident on the charge of extortion.
The Station House Officer (SHO) Palwindar Singh said that the accused has been identified as Gagan Deep Singh alias Babu son of Sukhwindar Singh a resident of Shankar village.
SHO said a case under section 386(extortion) of the IPC and sections 25/54/59 of the Arms Act was registered against the accused in 2021.
