Delhi Excise Policy: AAP massive protest amid Manish Sisodia questioning by CBI, around 100 including Sanjay Singh detained from outside office

New Delhi: Several AAP leaders, including MP Sanjay Singh, were detained today after a massive protest by them against the questioning of Manish Sisodia by the CBI in the liquor policy case. Around 100 leaders and workers were detained from outside the CBI office, they will be released soon, a Delhi Police official said,

 

Dramatic visuals showed the leaders being stuffed into a bus by the police. Several women workers, while being taken to the bus, alleged the police "misbehaved" with them.

AAP MP Sanjay Singh was detained along with other protesters or unlawfully protesting at the CGO complex, where large gatherings are banned, a senior police officer said.

Police warning to AAP leaders and workers sitting outside CBI office

The police have started warning AAP leaders and workers sitting outside the CBI office that they should leave immediately or else they will have to be forcibly removed. Police is preparing for action. People have started to be removed.

Kejriwal said - will keep Sisodia in jail till Gujarat Polls results  

 

Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal tweeted and said that the results of Gujarat will come on December 8. These people will keep Manish in jail till then. So that Manish does not go for campaigning in Gujarat elections.
