The Lohian Khas police have booked five persons including a woman on the charge of outraging a woman’s modesty.
The investigating officer (IO) Sarabjit Singh said that the accused have been identified as Gurmukh Singh a resident of Jalal Pur Kalan village, his wife Satwindar Kaur, his son Rannjit Singh, and Gurjot Singh and Manpreet Singh residents of the same village.

Narindarjit Kaur a resident of the same village complained to the police that the accused physically assaulted and tore her clothes and threatened her with dire consequences.
IO said that a case under sections 354 (criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty),323(voluntarily causing hurt) 341(wrongful restraint) 506(criminal intimidation) 148 and149 (rioting) of the IPC has been registered against the accused. IO said no arrested have been made and raids are being conducted to nab the absconding accused.
