Tewari inaugurates Solar Power Project at Nawanshahr Gaushala

  • Presents grant cheque worth Rs.two lakh , announces two lakh more   


Nawanshahr: Manish Tewari,MP, Sri Anandpur Sahib,today inaigurated " Solar Power Project" set up at Gokuldham Gaushala,Pandora Mohalla,Nawanshahr today.

The Solar Power project was set up at a cost of Rs.5 lakh for which grant was provided by the former CM,Charanjit Singh Channi .

While lauding the dedicated efforts of the committe  managing the affairs of the Shamshan Bhumi,AC mortuary,Muktinath Mahadev Mandir and Gokuldham Gaushala situated in the premises,he handed over the cheque amounting to Rs.two lakh and announced to give Rs to two lakh more for the development plans of the NGO.

The representatives of different political,social and religious organisations and prominent citizens attended the functions.

MP Tewari and Halwa Incharge Nawanshahr assembly segment, Lalit mohan Pathak ( Ballu),responding to  the problem of drainage of sullage water in the town put forth by the prominent residents, assured that master plan would be prepared and abundant funds would be arranged from the CM,Bhagwant Maan for it. The MP also listened the grievances of the senior citizens and other organisations.

Satvir Singh Palli Jhikki,former chairman,District Planning Committee, Dr.Kamaljit ,former chairman, Improvement Trust, Lalit Mohan Pathak( Ballu),Halqa Incharge, Prof Satish Brutta,general secretary,Senior Citizens Association, Param Singh Khalsa,MC,Kundan Lal Sarpanch,Vivek Markanda,Raman Ummat,Sat Pal Ummat,Parmod Bharti,among others,also addressed the gathering
