CHANDIGARH: Ahead of the Congress Presidential polls, AICC president election candidate Mallikarjun Kharge will visit Chandigarh on Wednesday to meet colleagues and PCC delegates of Punjab, Haryana & Chandigarh. He will reach Chandigarh at 5 pm today.
Mallikarjun Kharge teitted and reported, “I will be meeting my colleagues and PCC delegates of MP, Punjab, Haryana & Chandigarh in Bhopal and Chandigarh ahead of the Congress Presidential polls. Hearing their concerns & acting on their suggestions will help the party build deeper connection with the people”.
According to the report, Kharge will also visit in MP. He will reach Bhopal by a special plane at 12:45 pm on Wednesday. He will visit the state Congress office after 1 pm and will hold discussions with senior leaders and PCC delegates who vote in the party president election.
Later, he will address a press conference in the afternoon and is scheduled to fly back to New Delhi at 3 pm.
However, Senior Congress leader and Rajya Sabha MP Mallikarjun Kharge and Lok Sabha MP from Thiruvananthapuram Shashi Throor are contestant’s for the Congress national president’s post.
Congresss President Election for which will be held on October 17.
