An eighteen-year-old youth died under mysterious circumstances on Sunday.
The investigating officer (I O) Surindar Singh said that the deceased has been identified as Simranjit Singh son of Balwindar Singh resident of Kang Sahib Rai village.
Balwindar Singh son of Charan Singh a resident of Jannia village under Lohian Khas police station told the police that the deceased consumed a wrong medicine and died
IO said that the police acting under section 174 of the Cr.P.C. handed over the body to the family after post-mortem.
