In this case, the police has said that they have information related to the suspect, but they cannot share it.

According to news agency ANI, the family belonged to Hoshiarpur city in Punjab.

Police have said that the family was abducted at gunpoint from a business establishment in Merced last Monday.

The video also showed that the kidnapper put Amandeep and Jasdeep in the back seat of Amandeep's pickup truck and drove away and returned six minutes later, Gibson said. He added that the same suspect went back inside the business and brought out Jasleen and Aroohi.

Amandeep and Jasdeep’s parents Dr Randhir Singh and Kirpal Kaur had come to their native village – Harsi Pind – in district Hoshiarpur on September 29 and they returned to US on Tuesday night after receiving the information about the kidnapping.
