NAKODAR
The Mehat Pur police have arrested a villager on the charge of selling illicit liquor.
The Investigating Officer Davindar Singh said 9 bottles of hooch were seized from the possession of the accused identified as Balwindar Singh a resident of Bau Pur village under Shahkot police station. A case under sections 61/1/14 of the Punjab Excise Act was registered against the accused who was released on bail.
