Woman among three arrested for murdering Bhatinda youth

NAKODAR: The Nakodar sadar police have arrested three persons including a woman on the charge of murdering a Bhatinda youth.

The investigating officer and station house officer (SHO) Palwindar Singh said that the accused have been identified as Ramandeep Kaur daughter of Resham Singh a resident of Daya Kalan village under Dharam Kot police station in Moga,Mukesh Kumar son of Mall Nath a resident of ward no.13 ,Moga and AmrikSingh son of Baljit Singh a resident Daya Kalan village under Dharam Kot police station in  Moga.

Nachhatar Singh a resident of Kothe Kaur Singh Wale (Ablu) village under Nehian Wala police station Bathinda has complained to the police that the accused has murdered his son Manprit Singh (22) and dumped his body on a roadside near Kang Sahibu village.

He said in his complaint that his son served in a Moga hospital for three years and now was serving in a Jalandhar hospital he told his family about his visit on September 6 but did not reach home.

The Father of the deceased has said in his complaint that he has registered a lost report at division no.4 police station on 9 in connection with the disappearance of his son on September 9 which has issued an advertisement and phoned me about a dead body found near Kang Sahibu village under Nakodar sadar police station and asked him to identify the body.

Nachhtar Singh said he reached the spot and identified the body of his son.

He said has said in his complaint that his son developed a relationship with Ramandeep Kaur while serving in Moga hospital who was also serving there and has also relations with the accused Mukesh Yadav. He said that Yadav along with other accused threatened his son and made unsuccessful attempts to attack him.

Nachhtar Singh has said that his son left Moga hospital job and joined a Jalandhar hospital and the accused Ramandeep Kaur followed him and openly threatened him to teach him a lesson they kidnapped Manpreet Singh on September 6 and murdered him.

SHO said that a case under sections 302(murder) and 34(committing a crime with common intention) of the Indian Penal Code was registered against the accused.
