CHANDIGARH: The Enforcement Directorate team has taken major action regarding the Delhi Liquor Scam case. On Friday ED has conducted searches at around 40 locations in 6 states.
According to the information, raids are being conducted at more than 40 locations including Bangalore, Hyderabad, Nellore, Chennai. Searches are also going on in Delhi-NCR, Punjab, Haryana and UP. Some bureaucrats have been named as accused in the alleged scam related to the excise policy, which has now been rolled back.
Earlier, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) also raided several places on 6 September in the Delhi Government's Excise Policy case. The ED had raided 30 locations in the states of Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Telangana and Maharashtra.
