Punjab govt extends deadline for NGOs to apply for financial assistance: Dr. Baljit Kaur

Chandigarh: Punjab Social Justice, Empowerment and Minorities Minister Dr. Baljit Kaur said that considering the demand of non-governmental organizations (NGOs), the Punjab government has extended the deadline for accepting applications from NGOs to provide them financial assistance till 28th September, 2022 from the earlier deadline of September 6, 2022.

The NGOs who are desirous of receiving assistance under this scheme implemented by the Government of Punjab can apply for grants under the projects nominated by the Government of Punjab under this scheme. They should submit their proposal to the District Social Justice and Empowerment Officer of the concerned district within the stipulated time and send it to the department through the recommendation of the concerned Deputy Commissioner.
