The Lambi police of Muktsar district have claimed to have recovered 1000 intoxicant tablets (Tramadol)and arrested two persons,Sandeep Singh and Babbu Singh, both residents of village Channu.
The arrests have been made by a police party led by assistant sub inspector Baljeet Singh from village Beedowali, near T point Badal.
The police said that they noticed the two accused sitting along the road and when they were searched, the police recovered 100 stripes of Tramadol tablets(totalling 1000 tablets) from their possession.
Both the accused were arrested from the spot and a case under sections of 22 C,61,85 of NDPS act has been registered against the two at Lambi police station.
