The shahkot police have booked two persons on the charge of murdering a shahkot resident.
Station house officer (SHO) Balwindar singh said that the accusrc have been identified as Japreet Singh alias Bagga son of Harjindar Singh a resident of Rajewal village and his unidentified accomplice.
SHO said that the accused shot dead Sandeep Kumar alias Sonu son of Bagga a resident of Ram Dass Colony Shahkot.
Surinder Pal alias Sonu brother of the deceased complained to the police that the accused shot dead Sandeep on December 19 nrar a shop whete hr was working .
He said the accused Bagga has threatened his brother to leave his wife of face consequences as the accused was in touch with wife of the deceased for some time .
SHO said a case under section 103(murder ) and section 3(5)(committing crimes with common intention) of the BNS and sections 25/54/59/ of the Arms Act has been registered against the accused and recovered two live and two empty cartridges from the spot of the crime .
