The Lohian khas police have arrested a drug peddler on the charge of selling heroin.
The investigating officer (IO)Iqbal Singh said that 7 grams of heroin were recovered from the possession of the accused identified as Nirmal Singh alias Nimma son of Satnam Singh a resident of Ismail Pur village.
IO said that a case under section 21/61/85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused and two cases under the NDPS Act and Excise Act are pending against him.
