- Asks department heads to submit utilization certificate within 5 days
Kapurthala: Deputy Commissioner Kapurthala Vishesh Sarangal today directed the officials of Municipal Corporation Kapurthala , Phagwara, Municipal Councils, Public Works Department, Rural Development and Health Department to ensure the timely completion of development works under Plan Schemes and MPLAD.
Reviewing the development works during the meeting of the officials of various departments at the DAC here today, Deputy Commissioner said that the top officials of all the departments must personally supervise the completion of the development works to provide services to the people in a better way. He said that special attention should be given to ensure quality in the development works.
Sarangal asked all departments to submit utilisation certificates within 5 days besides submitting the information about outstanding amount, which was issued under plan schemes and MPLAD.
He further said that the district heads of the departments will be directly responsible for submitting the utilization certificates in given time so that development works can be expedited by releasing more funds as per requirement.
During the meeting, Municipal Corporation Phagwara Dr. Nayan Jassal, commissioner MC kapurthala Anupam Kler , SDM Lal Vishwas Bains, Assistant commissioner Upinderjit kaur brar , DDPO Harjinder Singh and officials of other departments were also present .
