NAKODAR
The Nakodar sadar police have booked unidentified persons on the charge of stealing copper blades from an electric power substation.
Junior engineer electric grid construction division Jalandhar Satindar Singh complained to the police that thieves barged into the 220 kv substation on November 13 night and stole 12 copper blades.
The investigating officer Janak Raj said that a case under sections 457 (lurking house-trespass) and 380(theft in dwelling house) of the Indian Penal Code has been registered against the unidentified accused.
