NAKODAR
The Nakodar city police have booked an unidentified driver on the charge of causing death by negligence.
Ajay Kumar son of Avtar Singh a resident of Pandori Khas village complained to the police that the accused was driving fast and rashly and hit his father motorcycle and killed him.
The Station House Officer Labh Singh said that a case under section 304-A (causing death by negligence) and 427(mischief) of the IPC has been registered against an unidentified driver.
In another accident near Kang Sahibu village under Sadar police station, one woman identified as Soman wife of Satwindar Singh a resident of Kartar Pur was killed when a vehicle hit a motorcycle said SHO Palwindar Singh.
