Keeping in view the forthcoming Nagar Panchayat election the Punjab Government has accorded its approval to the long pending demand of Bilga village residents to construct a ring road around the village.
Nakodar MLA Bibi Indarjit Kaur Mann said in a press statement that she met Punjab Chief Minster Bhagwant Singh Mann on November 9 in this connection and the chief minister approved a project to construct a ring road around Bilga village adding that the project is worth Rs 75 crores.
MLA said that officials present on the occasion said that more than one year time is needed for land acquisition and other technicalities.
She said that plans to repair Bilga -Nurmahal road, Bilga-Mowai road, and Talwann - Dhagara road have also been approved by the Government.
