The Bilga police have arrested two drug peddlers on the charge of selling heroin and poppy husk.
The Station House Officer (SHO) Mohindar Pal said that 5 grams of heroin and 10 kilograms of poppy husk were recovered from the possession of the accused identified as Gurprit Singh alias Gopi son of Sohann Singh a resident of Mehsam Pur village and Mangal Singh alias Mangi son of Masha Singh a resident of Mao Sahib village.
SHO said that cases under sections 21(B)/ 15(B) /61/85 of the NDPS Act have been registered against the accused.
The Nakodar sadar police arrested drug peddler Avtar alias Lakha son of Karnail Singh of Shah Salem village under Mehat Pur police station said SHO Palwindar Singh.
