Faridkot: Department of Agriculture and Farmer welfare Faridkot conducted Demonstration of SMARTSEEDER under able guidance of hon’ble Speaker Vidhan Sabha Punjab, Kultar Singh Sandhwan in the farm of Gurpreet Singh Chandbaja in presence of Deputy Commissioner Dr Ruhee Dugg, Dr Karanjit Singh Gill (CAO FDK), Dr Ram Singh (APPO, FDK), Dr Yadwinder Singh Gill(ADO), Dr Davinderpal Singh(AEO), Ranbir Singh(ASI), Shri Sukhdeep Singh(ASI) and other department officials.
Around 70-80 farmers were present during the demonstration and showed keen interest in the new technology.
Hon’ble Speaker Vidhan Sabha Punjab, Kultar Singh Sandhwan encouraged the farmers in adoption of new technology and requested farmers to be sensitive towards environmental pollution and shun the practice of farm fires.
