A 63-year-old married man committed suicide on November 3
The investigating officer (IO) Daljit Singh said that the deceased has been identified as Chain Singh a resident of Saido Wal village.
Major Singh cousin of the deceased told the police that his brother committed suicide by consuming sulphas tablets as he was mentally upset.
IO said the police were acting under section 174 of the Cr. P.C.. handed over the body to the family after post-mortem.
