NAKODAR
The Nakodar city police have arrested a Nakodar villager with a firearm.
The investigating officer (IO) Paramjit Singh said that the accused has been identified as Jagjit Singh alias Jessa son of Harnek Singh a resident of Nur Pur village.
IO said that an Italy made pistol (7.65 MM) with two live cartridges were recovered from his possession.
A case under sections 25/54/59 of the Arms Act has been registered against him and further investigation in on.
