NAKODAR
The Nakodar sadar police have arrested Jasvir Singh son of Tasem Singh a resident of Mudh village on the charge of betting.
The investigating officer Jasvir Singh said that the accused was selling betting number slips at a village bus stand. A case under sections 13-A, 3, and 67 of the Punjab Gambling Act has been registered against the accused, seized some money, and released on bail.
