NAKODAR
The Nakodar city police have booked a police officer on the charge of assaulting a Nakodar resident.
The investigating officer (IO) Mandeep Singh said that the accused has been identified as Assistant Sub Inspector Hari son of Sohan a resident of Mohalla Guru Nanak Pura Nakodar and posted in police lines Ludhiana.
Indarjit a resident of the same locality complained to the police that the accused attacked him and his friend with a weapon on September 14 night
IO said a case under sections 323,324 (voluntarily causing hurt with dangerous weapons or means) and 34 (committing crime with common intention) of the IPC has been registered against the accused.
