The Shahkot have busted a gang of thieves and arrested its three members.
The investigating officer (IO) Balkar Singh said that the accused have been identified as Satvir Singh son of Mangal Singh ,Gurprit Singh son of Jeet Singh and Jaswant Singh son of Gurdev Singh residents of Punian village,
Sandeep Singh a resident of the same village complained to the police that the accused barged into his music systems shop and stole materials and cash.
.IO said that a case under sections 457(lurking house tress pass) 380 (theft in dwelling house) and 411 (dishonestly receiving stolen property ) of the IPC has been registered against the accused and recovered some stolen items from their possession.
