Women's Asia Cup: India wins toss, opts to bat first against Bangladesh

IND-W vs BAN-W: In the Women's Asia Cup, Indian team captain Smriti Mandhana has won the toss against Bangladesh and decided to bat first.

 

This match is taking place at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium in Bangladesh.

The Indian team lost the match against Pakistan on Friday by 13 runs. However, the Indian team is still on the top of the points table with six points.

In the second match held on Friday, Sri Lanka defeated Malaysia by 72 runs. Pakistan and Sri Lanka are also in second and third place with six points.

Team captain Harmanpreet Kaur has been rested in this match, hence Smriti Mandhana has been made the captain.

Bangladesh have only made one change. Shamina Sultana has been replaced with Lata Mondal.
