- Prior approval to be obtained from concerned SDMs
Kapurthala: Deputy Commissioner cum District Magistrate Vishesh Sarangal today issued an order to designate the places for Dharnas /demonstrations in Kapurthala district.
According to orders, the concerned institution/organisation must inform the concerned SDMs and also obtain approval for the Dharna.
Shalamar Bagh has been a designated place for Dharnas in for Kapurthala sub-division whereas in sultanpur Lodhi the side of Bus stand Sultanpur Lodhi adjoining to Gurdwara Sri Antrayamata sahib has been fixed for Dharnas .
In Phagwara , the place would be at Hargobind nagar . On the other hand In Bholath sub division, Grain market No-1 at bholath and Dana Mandi Focal Point at village Ramgarh have been fixed for dharnas .
It was also made clear that during the procurement season it Bholath , the place for dharnas would be at bus stand . These orders will remain in force till December 3, 2022.
