- Iqbal Singh Sandhu, PCS (Retd) to continue as CEO, Surjit Hockey Academy
Jalandhar: Ranbir Singh Tut & Surinder Singh Bhapa have been appointed as Honorary Secretary and General Secretary, respectively of renowned Surjit Hockey Society, Jalandhar here today.
Jaspreet Singh, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Jalandhar who is also the President of the Surjit Hockey Society, has appointed Ranbir Singh Tut as Hony. Secretary whereas Surinder Singh Bhapa as Secretary General of the Society, keeping in view the 39th edition of the Surjit Hockey Tournament, starting here at local Surjit Hockey Stadium, Burlton Park from October 27. Former General Secretary & Hony. Secretary Iqbal Singh Sandhu, PCS (Retd) has been asked to continue as CEO, Surjit Hockey Academy, Jalandhar, run by Surjit Hockey Society, Jaspreet added. Both posts were laying vacant as Iqbal Singh Sandhu resigned the year 2021 due to personal reasons.
