1158 Assistant Professors and Librarians Front Punjab organized a protest along with various organizations

Barnala: At Kachahri Chowk Barnala, 1158 assistant professors and librarians staged a dharna once again in front of Cabinet Minister Meet Hare's residence along with other organizations.

Sharing information, union leaders Dr Sohail, Karamjit Singh, and Jagmeet Singh strongly condemned the lathi charge on professors during the dharna held recently and said that today we are taking other organizations along with us to hold a rally against terror. 

He said that in the past we were tortured by the police as per the orders of Mr Hare and kept in police stations till late at night which is very unfortunate and he said that before forming the government, it used to say that someone turban and scarfs will not be allowed to sacrilege, but today everything is contrary to that happening.  He said that we will go to the elections in Gujarat, Himachal, and Haryana and spread false propaganda about AAP so that other states do not fall under their false promises. They said that we had requested a panel meeting with the Chief Minister and Higher Education regarding the cancellation of the advertisement for the recruitment of assistant professors and librarians and the situation after the written decision. 

 

He said that in the coming time we will also celebrate the Dussehra festival by blowing up the effigies of the Chief Minister and the Minister of Higher Education. In the end, the organizations that came from them were Bhakyu Ekta Ugrahan, Bhakyu Ekta Dakounda, Revolutionary Center Punjab, Jamhoori Adhikar Sabha, Democratic Teachers Front, Total Indian Education, Adhikar Manch TarkasheelSociety Punjab, B.ed Tet Pass Unemployed Teachers Union, Punjab Students Union, Lalkar Punjab Students Union, Shaheed Randhawa Students Federation of India, All India Students Federation, Punjab Radical Students Union, Democratic Students Organization and Punjab Students Federation thanked and said that iIf the government does not initiate measures to save the recruitment on the High Court double bench, we will have an even tougher struggle. On this occasion, Harpreet Singh, Yodha Singh, Jaspreet Sivia, Rai Bahadur, Paramjit Singh, Nirbhai Singh, Pitpal, Priya, Daljit Kaur, Harman Isha etc. were present.
