Six women among ten drug peddlers arrested under NDPS Act


NAKODAR /SHAHKOT

The Nakodar sadar police have arrested eight   drug peddlers including six women   on the charge of selling heroin, intoxicant tablets, and capsules. 

The Station House Officer (SHO) Palwindar Singh  said that 12 grams of heroin ,1835  intoxicant tablets ,371 intoxicant injections and Rs 26200 drug money were  recovered from the possession of the accused identified as Nirmal Singh alias Nimma son of Sindhar Pal a resident of Shankar village ,Jagdish Raj alias Disha a residents of the same village ,Kulwindar Kaur alias Kindo wife of Sukhdev ,Nimmo wife of Satmam,Kaushayla wife of Shindar Pal ,her daughter Manjit ,Sukhwindar Kaur alias Shindo wife of Narindar Singh and Joti wife of – all residents of Shankar village.  SHO said that cases under sections21-B/22-B/61/85 of the NDPS Act have been registered against the accused.

The Shahkot police arrested drug peddler Kuldip Singh alias Bhola son of Sadhu Ram of Mohalla Dhorra, Shahkot with 750 intoxicant tablets, said IO Balkar Singh.

 

The Lohian Khas police arrested Harjindar Singh alias Happy son of Dalbir Singh a resident of Farid Sarai in Kapurthala, said IO Jaspal Singh.
