NURMAHAL: The Nurmahal police have four villagers on the charge of assaulting a 32-year-old youth.
The investigating officer (IO) Jugraj Singh said that the accused have been identified as Baljit Singh alias Bal,Daljit Singh alias Jeeta ,jagdeep Singh and Baljit Singh alias Manni all residents of Sunnarr Kalan village.
Janni a resident of the same village had complained to the police that the accused attacked him on September 6 at Aadekali village and seriously injured and threatened him.
IO said that a case under sections 323,325(voluntarily causing grievous hurt),451(house-trespass to commit an offense punishable with imprisonment),506(criminal intimidation) 34 (committing the crime with common intention) of the IPC was registered against the accused.
