Barnala: Today, the function of Punjabi Sahitya Sabha Tapa was held at Holy Angels School. The chief guest was Mr Jawaharlal Bansal and after lighting the candles, the inauguration ceremony was performed. Krishna Chand Singla. The event started with Shabad singing by the school children. Police Station Tapa Chief Nirmaljit Singh Sandhu also attended the praesidium. Emerging writer Lovepreet Kaur Khayala presented the details of her literary journey. He also recited his selected poems. He said that he had developed a passion for writing poems since his childhood, which was further fueled by the hard work of the teachers.

Eminent lyricist Buta Singh Chauhan, while reviewing the poems, said that it is important to have rhythm and rhythm in poetry. He suggested to the writers that reading books and working hard can improve their poems. Poet C Markanda said that poems should be connected with social concerns. If people are not favoured in the works, then those works do not get the approval of the public mind. Apart from Harbhajan Singh Selbarah and Gurmukh Singh Selbarah, Principal Varinder Singh also presented his views. 

On this occasion, Master Lakhveer Singh, Mohit Singla, Lachman Das Musafir, Navdeep Singh, Sarpanch Roop Singh Maur, Hakam Singh Roodeke, Tek Dhingra Chand, Avtar Singh Sahota, Jagjit Kaur Dhillon, Sukhwinder Singh Azad, Hakam Singh Chauhan, Manjit Singh Musafir, Head Master Ranjit Singh Tallewal, Krishna Lal, Navdeep Singh Davinder Kaur, Rakesh Kumar Hasija, Master Manjit Singh Mehta, Dr Tejinder Markanda, Journalist Parveen Arora and Dr Juala Singh Maur etc. poets also presented their works. The role of managing the stage was well played by Principal Barinder Singh. To continue the activities of the Sahitya Sabha, financial assistance was also given by the chief guest Jawaharlal Bansal and Krishna Chand Singla. He was honoured by the assembly with medals and mementoes. Finally, the event was concluded with Qawwali performed by the children under the leadership of music teacher Krishna Lal.
