Deputy Commissioner Ludhiana hands over Rs 1 crore cheque for renovation of Baba Vishwakarma Mandir

(SUBHEAD) Ludhiana: Deputy Commissioner Ludhiana Varinder Kumar Sharma today handed over a cheque of Rs. 1 crore to the Committee of Baba Vishwakarma Mandir, that would be used for renovation purposes. MLA Surinder Dawar and Amarjit Singh Tikka, Chairman Punjab Medium Industrial Development Board (PMIDB) were also present on the occasion.

MLA Surinder Dawar said that Punjab Finance Minister Manpreet Singh Badal had announced an amount of Rs. 1 crore for the renovation and beautification of the Baba Vishwakarma Mandir in Miller Ganj, here. He thanked CM Charanjit Singh Channi, Finance Minister Manpreet Singh Badal and Punjab government for fulfilling their promise.

PMIDB Chairman Amarjit Singh Tikka said that the Ramgarhia community is indebted to CM Channi and Punjab government for this noble cause.(MOREPIC1)

Deputy Commissioner Varinder Kumar Sharma informed that an amount of Rs. 1 crore announced by Manpreet Singh Badal has been released out of the discretionary quota of the Finance Minister Punjab Small Savings Award Money for the year 2021-22.

Ranjit Kumar Salh, President of the Mandir Committee, Iqbal Singh Sonu, Councilor, Surjit Chaggarh, Ashish Salh, Avtar Singh and others were also present on the occasion.
