33 shortlisted for job by Amazon during placement camp held at DBEE Jalandhar

(SUBHEAD) JALANDHAR: As many as 33 youths have been shortlisted for the job by the e-commerce giant Amazon during a job placement camp held today at district bureau of employment and enterprise (DBEE), Jalandhar.
 
Divulging the details, Deputy Director DBEE Jalandhar Jaswant Rai said that the camp was organized to assist jobless youths wherein a total of 57 applicants participated of which 33 were shortlisted by the officials of Amazon. He said that these unemployed youths have been shortlisted for the post of delivery executives with a monthly worth Rs. 26,000 and appropriate training would also be imparted upon by the company.(MOREPIC1)
 
He said that more placement camps would be held by the DBEE to help youngsters realize their employment dreams besides assisting them with several self-employment opportunities. He also mentioned that the department was also assisting unemployed youth with skill-development training so that they can start their own enterprise. He called upon youngsters to approach DBEE situated at the district administrative complex to take advantage of several job opportunities.
