The Shahkot police have arrested a thief for stealing goats.Investigating Officer (IO) Sukhwinder Singh said the accused has been identified as Gurpreet Pal alias Gopi, son of Sukhwindar Pal, a resident of Sanda villageRannjit Singh, a resident of Pato Khurd village, complained to the police that the accused and his accomplice stole his three goats.IO said a case under sections 331(3) (lurking house trespass) and 305(theft in dwelling house) of the BNS has been registered against the accused and Sonu, a resident of Slaichan village.
